<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a main-shaft device for a machine tool that allows a tool, in which the position of a cutting edge is changeable by advancement/retreat of a correction shaft, to be attached/detached through an automatic tool exchange function while allowing the tool to be used together with a normal tool. Ž<P>SOLUTION: The main-shaft device including an automatic tool exchange function is provided with: a first guide tube 19 which is inserted into the shaft hole 2a of a main shaft 2 and advances/retreats while inserting a main-shaft side draw bar 4 into its shaft hole 19a; a second guide tube 20 which is also inserted into the shaft hole 2a of the main shaft 2 and whose base end is fixed at the tip of the first guide tube 19 so as to integrally advance/retreat with the first guide tube 19; a tool-holder clamper 21 with such a configuration that its one end is locked on the inner peripheral surface 2b of the main shaft 2 while its the other end is slidable along a convex part 20b of the second guide tube 20; and a tool-side draw-bar clamper 22 with such a configuration that its one end is locked at the tip of the main-shaft-side draw bar 4 while its the other end is slidable along a concave part 20c of the second guide tube 20.
