<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical touch input device for making it unnecessary for a user to remove any deposit such as dirt or dust by cleaning it by detecting the deposit, and preventing occurrence of an erroneous input. <P>SOLUTION: This optical touch input device is configured of: an operation part 110 for detecting XY coordinate positions on an operation face by light-shielding of a matrix-shaped optical axis formed of a pair of light emitting element and light receiving element: an arithmetic part 120 for detecting the deposit such as dirt or dust on an operation face on the basis of the detection result of the operation part; and an operation face driving part 140 for moving the operation face in a Z axial direction which is vertical to the face. When the scale of a light shielding area is smaller than a prescribed threshold, the arithmetic part 120 determines that the deposit is present on the operation face, and the operation face driving part 140 moves the operation face in the Z axial direction to eliminate the influence of the deposit. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT</p> |
