PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of manufacturing a letterpress printing plate which enables forming of a voided fine linear part or a voided fine letter part as a groove having a sufficient depth on the letterpress printing plate, as well as the letterpress printing plate manufactured by this manufacturing method. SOLUTION: This method can be performed by repeating a discharging process to discharge an ultraviolet-curable composition to the surface of a base material from a head for inkjet recording by driving the head according to image information and a curing process to seal the ultraviolet-curable composition discharged in the discharging process, on the base material by curing the composition under exposure to an ultraviolet light. The letterpress printing plate can be manufactured by the method aimed ultimately at forming laminates of the cured ultraviolet-curable composition on the surface of the base material as a convex form image part based on image information through the above processes.
