<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an inverter controller which avoids the disadvantage of a current transformer being incapable of detecting a low-frequency current and causing an uncontrollable state even if the current transformer is able to detect a current flowing through a compressor motor. <P>SOLUTION: The inverter controller includes an inverter control unit 11 which compares a current depending on an operation frequency set by an operation frequency setting unit 10 with a current measured by a current measuring unit 12 to control an inverter 5 based on the result of the comparison, and a maximum current determining unit 13 which based on the operation frequency, determines a maximum allowable current to be allowed to flow through a motor 6. The operation frequency setting unit 10 sets an operation frequency lower than the operation frequency when a current measured by the current measuring unit 12 reaches a maximum allowable current determined by maximum current determining unit 13. The inverter control unit 11 generates the waveform of a drive signal to the inverter 5 based on the set lower operation frequency to make the current of the motor 6 lower than the current. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT |
