<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lighting device capable of improving heat dissipation and vibration resistance of a fluorescent lamp, and saving power by automated assembling. <P>SOLUTION: In the lighting device 1 with the fluorescent lamp 2, a socket 3 to retain a sealing part 2a of both ends of the longitudinal direction of the fluorescent lamp 2, and a lead wire 5 which extends out of the fluorescent lamp 2 through the sealing part 2a from an electrode 4 arranged and installed in the fluorescent lamp 2, the socket 3 is integrally formed with the fluorescent lamp 2 by insertion molding by a rubber 7 in which powdery aluminum nitride 6 is mixed. Moreover, the aluminum nitride of the average particle size of≤80μm is used as a metal nitride 6.
