<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a surface mounting oscillator which excludes influence of an external temperature and makes temperature compensation operation certainly. <P>SOLUTION: In the quartz oscillator for surface mounting, an IC chip 3 having at least an oscillator circuit and a temperature compensation mechanism and a quartz piece 2 are contained in a recessed container body 1 having a sealing metal film 5d on an aperture end, and a metal cover 4 connected electrically to the sealing metal film 5d is joined to the aperture end for airtight sealing. The quartz oscillator for surface mounting has such a structure that a heat absorbing metal film 11a is formed on the outer base of the container body 1, the heat absorbing metal film 11a is connected to the sealing metal film 5d by a heat transferring metal film 11b formed on an outside face of the container body 1, and the heat absorbing metal film 11a and the heat transferring metal film 11b are exposed to a surface. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT</p> |
