The terminal has a spring force element (12) i.e. flexible spring, arranged in a terminal housing (10) and for connecting an inserted conductor. The spring force element has a contact leg (14) acting as a bearing for clamping the conductor, and a clamping leg (16) for applying a clamping force. The spring force element has an opening via which a current bar (22) is guided. The bar is inserted in the housing. The spring force element is bent by applying a force on the spring force element such that the conductor is guided via the opening for contacting the conductor with the bar.
