Provided is an information recording device which is capable of preserving a useful evidence for proving that the driver was driving drunk at an accident. The information recording device (a navigation device (10)) is provided with a detection part (11) which detects alcohol concentration by means of a plurality of in-vehicle alcohol sensors (AS1 to AS4) and a recording part (26) which records in a memory (M) drinking information relating to the quantities of alcohol drunk by the occupants in the vehicle who are the detection targets of the in-vehicle alcohol sensors (AS1 to AS4) according to the results of the detection by the in-vehicle alcohol sensors (AS1 to AS4).
