<p>A method of manufacturing a disposable wearing article, provided with: a conveyance step for conveying a continuous body of a compound web in the direction perpendicular to the waist direction (Y); a first folding step for folding, while the conveyance step is being performed, waist sections (3) in such a manner that a non-skin contacting face (3b) of a waist section (3) is superposed on a non-skin contacting face (3b) of one of a first side flap and a second side flap; a second folding step for folding, after the first folding step, the first and second side flaps in such a manner that skin contacting faces (3a) of the first and second side flaps are superposed on skin contacting faces (3a) of a back section and a front section; a cut-off step for cutting off, after the second folding step, the continuous body into individual wearing articles; and a third folding step for folding each of the wearing articles in such a manner that a first fastener member (31) disposed on a skin contacting face (3a) of a waist section (3) is superposed on a second fastener member (32) disposed on the other non-skin contacting face (3b) of the first side flap or the second side flap.</p> |
