摘要 <p>An image processing device provided with: a normalization processing unit (35) which generates a normalized image from a low resolution image; a region extraction unit (31) which, for each low resolution image, identifies a first region outside of a predetermined luminance range and a second region within the predetermined luminance range; an interpolation luminance calculation unit (32) which corrects the luminance values of pixels in the first region of the normalized image using interpolated luminance values calculated from the luminance values of pixels in the second region, said pixels in the second region being in a predetermined positional relationship with pixels in a high resolution image that correspond to the pixels in the first region of the normalized image; a weighted data creation unit (34)  which weights the pixels of the first region of each normalized image according to the interpolated luminance values; and a dynamic range expansion super resolution processing unit (25) which reduces, when creating a high resolution image from a group of normalized images, the degree of contribution by the luminance values of the pixels in the first region in the creation of the high resolution image, in response to the weighting.  Due to this, the image processing device is able to expand the dynamic range of the captured image and improve the resolution.</p>
