PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an installation structure and a method for a temporary facility for preventing accumulation of snow on a mounting plate used to install a temporary scaffold. SOLUTION: This installation structure is constituted by mounting the mounting plates 40 each extended in substantially vertical direction and having a cut-out section 41 in an upper part on a surface of a steel frame column 1, providing hook pins 51 protruding in substantially horizontal direction on the temporary scaffold 10, and fitting the hook pins 51 into the cut-out sections 41 in the mounting plates 40, respectively, to mount the temporary scaffold 10 on the steel frame column 1. Since the mounting plates 40 are mounted to extend in the vertical direction, snow does not accumulate on upper parts of them even if the mounting plates 40 are left on the surface of the steel frame column 1 after removing the temporary scaffold 10.
