The method involves transmitting a voting response by a voting participant (1) to a server (4) and a database (5) by a message service of a telecommunication network i.e. mobile radio network (3). The detected voting response is evaluated by the server and the database, and a voting query is signalized to a terminal (2) i.e. cellular phone, that is operated in the telecommunication network, where the signalizing of the voting query is automatically initiated by a query device over the message service. Independent claims are also included for the following: (1) a terminal for operating in a telecommunication network i.e. mobile radio network that works according to global system for mobile communication (GSM) radio network standard, general packet radio service (GPRS) radio network standard and universal mobile telecommunication system (UMTS) radio network standard (2) a network node in a telecommunication network for executing a partially automated voting method.
