Perforated inlays

The part has a perforated veneer layer (1) provided with a perforated region. Openings (5) are formed in the veneer layer so that an illuminated section on the veneer layer is visible during background illumination of the veneer layer. The openings are invisible when the background illumination is unavailable, and fully pass through a perforation of the veneer layer. The openings of the perforated region include diameter less than 100 micrometers, and are arranged in distance from 0.1 to 0.7 mm. The veneer layer includes a visible side that is provided with a transparent lacquer (3).
