<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vehicular antitheft device that requires no locking device other than a lock mechanism, with easy unlocking operation, without large force and is low in cost. SOLUTION: In a vehicle capable of traveling as the drive of an internal combustion engine is transmitted to a driving wheel via a power transmission system, the vehicular antitheft device comprises the lock mechanism 51 and 54 for locking and thus prohibiting the drive downstream of a starting clutch 35 in the power transmission system, a motor 41 for applying power to an upstream side of the starting clutch 35 in the power transmission system, and an actuator 33c for working and thus unlocking the lock mechanism 54 by the drive of the motor 41 upstream of the starting clutch 35 in the power transmission system.</p> |
