Method for moulding an internal thread on a base body

The method involves inserting a threading tool (11) into an opening (32) in a base body (31), where the tool is provided with sections including a thread-forming structure. An entire internal thread is formed in the base body by rotation of the threading tool around a rotation angle of maximum 360 degrees. The rotation angle is relative to a value of a quotient of a full circle divided by a number of sections having the thread-forming structure. The sections are arranged in symmetry of rotation of an integral order before insertion of the tool. An independent claim is also included for a threading tool for forming an internal thread on a base body.
