PURPOSE: A communication method for an air conditioner is provided to perform communication with multiple indoor units using different frequency channels and refrigerant pipes. CONSTITUTION: A communication method for an air conditioner is as follows. One or more indoor units are set as outdoor unit groups by operating outdoor units and sensing a temperature change of the indoor units(350). The outdoor unit groups communicate with the indoor units using different frequency channels.
