The present invention refers to a mill and a silo filler for milled grains or forage silage with a lower power consumption. The materials to be processed may be dehydrated, fresh or wet. The invention includes a chamber with a novel system of two rotating axis where discs with threaded hammers or knives are located. The axes are anchored to a solid structure that is the support of the whole mill. The advantage of incorporating two axes is that the impact speed is increased twice when the material is located between the two axes, since the relative speed between the hammers of the axes is opposite. A further advantage of having a double axis is that it prevents the forage from twisting over some of the axis, thus avoiding jam which is quite common in hammer mills when having wet or fresh forage. The reduction of power consumption is achieved by improving the impact upon adding fixed hammers, duplicating the impact speed when the impact is performed over the line that joints the two axe s, and avoiding jam. The equipment includes two outlets, one for the milled material using a screen and the other for the silage material which is ejected by the impact performed over the material and by the centrifugal force. The application of the equipment is directed to agricultural producers which require to process forage or mill grains to feed cattle.
