PURPOSE: An antibacterial melamine resin composition and a negative ion-containing antibacterial solution for the composition are provided to prevent the phase separation of the composition, and to improve the containing stability. CONSTITUTION: An antibacterial solution for forming an antibacterial melamine resin composition contains the following: a diol compound solvent selected from the group consisting of ethylene glycol, diethylene glycol, propylene glycol, and dipropylene glycol; a sliver compound; and an inorganic oxide precursor. The inorganic oxide precursor is a precursor of silica, titania, zirconia, or a zinc oxide. The antibacterial solution additionally contains a surfactant selected from polyvinylalcohol, polyethylene glycol, polypropylene glycol, or a polyethylene-polypropylene copolymer. |
