UNINTERRUPTIBLE POWER SUPPLY FOR CABLE TV

PURPOSE: An uninterruptible power supply unit for a cable TV is provided to reduce a size and a noise and implement high efficiency by removing an output transformer. CONSTITUTION: An input transformer(10) changes commercial power into 42V AC power. A PFC(Power Factor Corrector)(20) changes 42V AC power to 60 to 90V DC power. An inverter(30) changes the 60 to 90 V DC power into a square wave of the in-phase with the commercial power. A bypass unit(40) outputs the square wave of 60 to 90V DC power to the cable TV. A sub power(50) supplies auxiliary power into a PFC, an inverter, and a bypass unit. A controller(60) controls the conversion value of the PFC according to the output of the bypass unit.
