PURPOSE: A mono-tube shock absorber with a hydraulic stopper structure is provided to prevent the collision between a piston valve and a free piston when the shock absorber is completely contracted because the hydraulic stopper structure is installed between the piston valve and the free piston. CONSTITUTION: A mono-tube shock absorber with a hydraulic stopper structure comprises a cylinder(10), a piston valve(13), a piston rod(14), and a free piston(17). The inside of the cylinder is divided into an oil chamber and a gas chamber(16). The piston valve is accepted in the cylinder and generates a damping force by moving inside the cylinder. One end of the piston rod is connected to the piston valve while the other end extends to the outside of the cylinder. The oil chamber divides into a first and a second chamber(11,12) by the piston valve. The hydraulic stopper structure prevents the collision between the piston valve and the free piston.
