<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a balanced transmission connector device in which a crosstalk characteristic is improved. <P>SOLUTION: A ground contact 20A of a jack connector 10A comprises spring parts 25-1, 26-1 on the tip thereof and spring parts 25-2, 26-2 in a position behind that tip. An elongated central arm portion 122 of a ground contact 120 of a plug connector 100 is in contact with spring parts 25-1, 25-2, 26-1, 26-2. The spring parts 25-1, 25-2, 26-1, 26-2 function as a return path of a high-frequency ground current. The spring parts 25-1, 26-1 are configured not to form any stub on the ground contact 20A. The spring parts 25-2, 26-2 shorten a stub 50A formed on the ground contact 120 to a length of L3, thus the stub being shorter than in the prior art. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT |
