METHOD OF MANUFACTURING LIGHT EMITTING DEVICE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of manufacturing a light emitting device that facilitates controlling uniform defect density and stress distribution.

SOLUTION: The method is for manufacturing the light emitting device that includes a substrate with one or more curved surface shape projection. The method can provide the substrate that is easy to control uniform defect density and stress distribution even under growth of a semiconductor crystal layer and complete of the light emitting device. Moreover, extraction efficiency of light generated in a light emitting layer toward outside the light emitting device is raised.
