<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a groundbait container for fish gathering designed to freely regulate the amount released or diffusion state of a groundbait according to conditions of fish gathering, a fish state or intention of a fisher. Ž<P>SOLUTION: A container body 2 is formed into a bottomed nearly cylindrical shape. Window parts 11 are divided and formed on the peripheral surface of the container body 2 with vertical frames 12. An opening 13 opening to a threaded portion 16 and the peripheral surface is formed in the lower part of the container body 2. A transverse frame body 15 is mounted on the periphery of the window parts 11. Meshes 14 are defined by the transverse frame body 15 and vertical frames 12. A mesh regulating ring 17 for regulating the width of the meshes 14 is threadedly engaged with the threaded portion 16.
