摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a control device of direct connection clutch for vehicle, capable of reducing hunching and improving fuel consumption. Ž<P>SOLUTION: When the traveling state of a vehicle returns, after getting in an off area of flex lockup control determined in a control map, to an on area of flex lockup in the control map within a predetermined time T<SB>fldly</SB>, flex lockup control of a direct connection clutch 18 is continued without stoppage. Thus, even when the traveling state of the vehicle gets into the off area of the control map, a temporary area run-out is determined when it returns to the on area within the predetermined time T<SB>fldly</SB>to continue the flex lockup control, whereby the fuel consumption can be improved, and hunching by sudden operation of an accelerator which deviates from a predetermined hysteresis related to control on/off can be also suppressed.
