<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method (200) for manufacturing insulated wire (100). <P>SOLUTION: In one embodiment, by way of example only, a method (200) includes: a step of drawing (204) a conductive wire (320) through first pads (304, 306, 308) to apply a layer of a first slurry onto the conductive wire (320), the first pads (304, 306, 308) comprising a chamois leather material (322) and including the first slurry disposed on the chamois leather material (322), wherein the first slurry comprises a first dielectric precursor material and a first binder having an organic component; and a step of heat treating the conductive wire (320) to form the insulated wire (100). <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT</p> |
