<p>A method and a mobile terminal for receiving emergency broadcasting messages. The method includes that: when the terminal learns periodically from the information header of the multimedia broadcasting service information that there is a new emergency broadcasting message needed to be received, it extracts the emergency broadcasting message from the multimedia broadcasting controlling information; or, under the scene that the terminal receives the multimedia broadcasting service information, when the terminal learns from the information header of the service information that there is a new emergency broadcasting message sequence needed to be received, it extracts the emergency broadcasting messages from the multimedia broadcasting controlling information. The terminal opens the logic passages periodically to receive all emergency broadcasting messages punctually and effectively prevents the high power consumption and resource wasting in the course of reception.</p> |
