COMPUTING APPARATUS AND METHOD FOR INTERRUPT HANDLING OF RECONFIGURABLE ARRAY

PURPOSE: A computing apparatus and method for interrupt handling of reconfigurable array are provided to reduce the overhead in data transmission by tightly coupling a coarse grain array to the host processor through the sharing the central register file in a coarse grain array and a host processor. CONSTITUTION: A host processor(102) is formed at the outside of a coarse-grained array(101), and a center register file(103) performs a data transfer function between the coarse grain array and the host processor. The interrupt happens while performing a loop in the coarse grain array, an interrupt supervisor(104) pauses the operation of the coarse grain array. The interrupt manager processes the interrupt in the host processor.
