<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent increase of electric resistance at an OLB part of a flexible wiring board connected electrically with an electro-optical apparatus. Ž<P>SOLUTION: The electro-optical apparatus (1) comprises a pair of substrates (10, 20) disposed facing with each other, a pixel region (10a) with a plurality of pixels of one of the pair of the substrates arranged, a peripheral region disposed in the periphery of the pixel region, a semiconductor element (310) disposed along a first side of one of the substrates in the peripheral region for driving the plurality of pixels, and a plurality of connecting terminals (102) arranged adjacently to the first side along a second side shorter than the first side in the peripheral region.
