<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a quartz resonator for a highly stable product which corresponds to downsizing without degrading a CI value (series resonant resistance value), and reduces an amount of frequency variation because of a driving level of a quartz resonating plate to obtain a linear characteristic. Ž<P>SOLUTION: In a thickness slipping quartz resonating plate 2 of an AT cut formed in a disk shape, there are provided on one face of the quartz resonating plate 2 planoconvex polishing parts 21 and 22 having 2-stage curvature, and a bevel polishing part 23 formed at an end part of the quartz resonating plate.
