PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an output control apparatus that can quickly accelerate a prime mover and can easily maintain output of the prime mover at a predetermined level. SOLUTION: This control apparatus comprises: a prime mover; an operating member 14 controlling the prime mover and having a predetermined operation position P2 corresponding to a predetermined set output level LW of the prime mover; and a transmission returning mechanism 62. The transmission returning mechanism 62 temporally makes the output of the prime mover larger than the set output level LW according to operation of the operating member 14, in which the operating member 14 is moved to a predetermined operation position P2. Then the transmission returning mechanism 62 returns the output of the prime mover to the set output level LW and maintains the level.
