PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a push-button switch capable of setting a large clearance between a push button and the mounting surface of a substrate, and surely positioning the push button on the substrate. SOLUTION: A housing 4 mounted on the substrate 2 includes a plurality of boss parts 7 protruding toward the substrate 2 from the bottom face 4c of the housing 4, each boss part 7 is composed of two stage parts 7a, 7b laminated in their protruding direction, the cross-section area of the second stage part 7b on the tip side of the housing 4 is set smaller than the cross-section area of the first stage part 7a on its base end side, and an engagement hole 8 with which the second stage part 7b is independently engaged is provided in the substrate 2.
