<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress a sense of discomfort at the time of switching between programs when there are a plurality of programs in the same channel. <P>SOLUTION: A digital broadcast reception device includes: reception means 12; program determination means 14 for determining whether the received first and second programs are the same or not; sensitivity extraction means 16 for extracting a reception sensitivity, switching means 18 for switching the received program from a first program to a second program or from the second program to the first program; output means 20 for outputting the switched program; and control means 22 for determining whether a switching condition from the first program to the second program is satisfied in a second determination period longer than a first determination period when the first program and the second program are determined to be the same based on the reception sensitivity extracted from the sensitivity extraction means when the program determination means determines that the first program is different from the second program, and changing from the first program to the second program when it is determined that the switching condition is satisfied. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT |
