PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a bracing device capable of being applied to top-railed sliding doors diversely different in height dimension and height position. SOLUTION: This bracing device 1 includes: a bracing member 11 which is provided on a floor surface 2 in such a manner as to be freely raised/brought down; a recess 3a which is provided at the lower end of the top-railed sliding door 3; a first magnetic member 12 which is fixed to the bracing member 11; and a second magnetic member 22 which is held at the lower end of the top-railed sliding door 3. The bracing member 11 is pulled and raised by a magnetic attracting force acting between the first and second magnetic members 12 and 22, and fitted into the recess 3a, so as to prevent the swing of the top-railed sliding door 3. A magnetic member holding body 40A is rotatively operated by turning an adjusting screw 47, so that a relative distance between the floor surface 2 and the second magnetic member 22 held by the magnetic member holding body 40A can be easily adjusted.
