<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a heating device detecting ambient temperature of a wall and ceiling, maintaining sensible temperature at comfortable temperature all the time and saving electric power while suppressing electric power consumption by a heat source as much as possible. Ž<P>SOLUTION: The heating device includes: the heat source generating hot air and radiation heat; a heater control means for controlling the heat source; a room temperature detection sensor for sensing room temperature; and a wall and ceiling temperature detection sensor for sensing heat of the wall and ceiling. The heating device further includes a control part for analyzing the temperatures obtained by the respective sensors and controlling the heat quantity generated from the heat source. Thus, since the heating device can sense infrared rays around the heating device and control output calculated in accordance with the radiation energy of the infrared rays, the heating device can suppress electric power consumption by the heat source as much as possible while maintaining comfortable sensible temperature.
