PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a woven fabric for an airbag which has flexibility, dimensional stability, or mechanical characteristics required for a base fabric for the airbag, and is capable of reducing shift of stitches of sewn part of the airbag on receiving an occupant after its inflation and expansion, to provide an excellent and inexpensive airbag woven fabric, and to provide a method for producing the woven fabric for the airbag. SOLUTION: The woven fabric for a non-coated airbag is formed of a polyamide fiber having a single fiber fineness of 1 to 3 dtex, and a total fiber fineness of 200-700 dtex, and has a covering factor of the woven fabric of 2,000-2,300, a bending resistance of the fabric according to the ASTM D4032: Circular Bend method of not more than 15N, and also dry a heat shrinkage in lengthwise and transverse directions when treated at 150°C for 30 min of not more than 4%.
