Diazepinedione derivatives represented by general formula (I) or pharmacologically acceptable salts thereof are used as P2X4 receptor antagonist. In general formula (I), R1 represents a hydrogen atom, a C1-8 alkyl group, or the like; R2 represents a hydrogen atom, a C1-8 alkyl group, a C1-8 alkoxy group, a mono-, di-, or tri-halogenated C1-8 alkyl group, a halogen atom, a hydroxyl group, a nitro group, an amino group, a carboxyl group, a cyano group, or the like; R3 represents a hydrogen atom, a C1-8 alkyl group, or the like; and R4 and R5 may be the same or different and each represents a hydrogen atom, a C1-8 alkyl group, or the like.
