PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a thin type light cut filter that cuts infrared ray by using an infrared ray cut coat as a light cut filter. SOLUTION: The light cut filter 1 comprises a quartz plate 2, and a multilayer film formed on the quartz plate 2 and used for cutting a light of a predetermined wavelength band region. The multilayer film includes: a plurality of light cut groups (a first light cut group 35 and a second light cut group 36) of different wavelength band regions of light to be cut, which groups are separated from each other according to the preset thickness of an optical film; and a plurality of common films 33 having the common thickness of the optical film.
