<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vermiculite-containing composition that takes advantage of vermiculite properties to maximum, exhibits higher heat insulation effect and sound absorbing effect than a case in which vermiculite is used as an aggregate for gypsum board, etc., and has a higher reliability as a building material than a building material using a conventional vinyl acetate polymer and a urethane polymer as a binder.
