<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To transmit a rotational torque from a shaft to a rotor when compressing a refrigerant even when the rotor is made thin and to avoid the risk of the rotor coming out of the shaft when the shaft is held and the rotor is machined in an assembly of the shaft and the rotor used in a compressor. Ž<P>SOLUTION: In a through-hole 63 provided in the rotor 29, the shaft 31 is inserted by shrink-fitting, and the movement of the rotor 29 with respect to the shaft 31 in the direction of the axis C1 of the shaft 31 is stopped using plastic flow joining.
