<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an amplifying solid-state imaging device having a simple circuit configuration to suppress currents at memory write and attain a stable operation and high performances. <P>SOLUTION: A pixel 10 includes: a light receiving element PD, a first amplifier transistor SF1 for amplifying an output signal from the light receiving element PD, a memory Cm for storing an output signal of the first amplifier transistor SF1, a write switch Wr for controlling write of the output signal of the first amplifier transistor SF1 into the memory Cm, a second amplifier transistor SF2 for amplifying the signal written in the memory Cm, and an initialization transistor IT for initializing the signal written in the memory Cm to a predetermined voltage V1.
