<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a light emitting element, a method of manufacturing the same, and a light emitting device using the same. <P>SOLUTION: The light emitting element includes: a substrate; a plurality of light emitting cells each of which has a lower electrode formed on the substrate, a first semiconductor layer formed on the lower electrode, an active layer formed on the first semiconductor layer, a second semiconductor layer formed on the active layer, and an upper electrode formed on the second semiconductor layer, an insulation film formed between a lower electrode of one light emitting cell among the plurality of light emitting cells and another light emitting cell adjacent to the light emitting cell, wherein the plurality of light emitting cells constitute a first light emitting cell block with two or more of the plurality of light emitting cells and a second light emitting cell block with four or more of the plurality of light emitting cells, a lower electrode of the light emitting cell at one end of the first light emitting cell block is connected to upper electrodes of two light emitting cells of the second light emitting cell block by wiring formed on the insulation film, and an upper electrode at the other end of the first light emitting cell block is connected to lower electrodes of two light emitting cells different from the two light emitting cells of the second light emitting cell block by wiring formed on the insulation film. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT |
