<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technique which enables simplification of control of a light emission timing in an exposure head which forms a latent image by selectively switching a plurality of light emitting elements arranged in a sub-scan direction. <P>SOLUTION: The exposure head has first light emitting elements, second light emitting elements arranged in a first direction of the first light emitting elements and in a second direction orthogonal to the first direction, third light emitting elements arranged in a second direction of the first light emitting elements, fourth light emitting elements arranged in the second direction of the second light emitting elements, and an optical part which images the light from the first light emitting elements, second light emitting elements, third light emitting elements and fourth light emitting elements on an exposure surface. A distance in the second direction between the first light emitting element and the third light emitting element is equal to a distance in the second direction between the second light emitting element and the fourth light emitting element. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT</p> |
