PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electrodeposition coating apparatus capable of applying a sufficient coating film on the inner surface of a bag structure part such as side sill. SOLUTION: In the electrodeposition coating apparatus for applying electrodeposition coating by dipping a car body W transported by a transporting conveyer C/V into an electrodeposition coating material in an electrolytic bath 1, a plurality of side electrodes 4 are arranged on the inner wall of both side surface continuing into the bottom surface ranging from the car body carry-in side of the electrolytic bath 1 to the car body carry-out side, and a plurality of bottom electrodes 5 are arranged over the whole surface of the bottom side 1b of the electrolytic bath 1, while the arrangement interval L1 of the side electrode 4a in the car body arranged in a car body carry-in side is set wider than that of the side electrodes 4b arranged in the carry-out side and the arrangement interval of the bottom part electrodes 5a in the bottom electrodes 5 which are arranged direct below the part where the bag structure part of the bottom part of the car body is passed or in its vicinity is set narrower than that of the remaining bottom electrode 5.
