<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To maintain high security in a remote management system wherein a plurality of facility apparatus groups are connected with a remote management apparatus through a communication carrier. Ž<P>SOLUTION: The remote management system is provided with: a conversion table storage part for storing an address conversion table for making an apparatus identifier and an address for communication correspond to each other; a permission list storage part for storing a communication permission list indicating whether to permit communication of a plurality of apparatuses with each other; a communication request reception part for receiving a communication request using the apparatus identifier; an address conversion part for referring to the address conversion table and the communication permission list and determining a communication destination address of the communication request when it is the permitted one in the communication permission list; and a communication part for starting the communication based on the communication request received in the communication request reception part using the communication destination address determined in the address conversion part.
