<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress an increase of load applied to a cable while suppressing a fall in connection reliability between a locking member and an adjuster member in a tensioning device. Ž<P>SOLUTION: The tensioning device is constituted such that when a cable 5A is delivered to locate the locking member 33 in a second position, a coil spring 32 releases meshing between a first tooth part 31k and a second tooth part 33d against the urging force of a plate spring 34 to deliver one end 6a of an outer tube 6 in the delivered direction of the cable 5A. When the cable 5A is pulled back in the state of the locking member 33 being located in the second position, the locking member 33 moves into a first position from the second position in the meshed state of the first tooth part 31k and second tooth part 33d by the energizing force of the plate spring 34.
