PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an emergency-stop circuit apparatus that facilitates removal of an emergency stop switch from the emergency stop circuit with a simple structure, thereby achieving cost reduction. SOLUTION: The apparatus 1 includes a plurality of emergency stop switches 2 which open circuit their own internal circuit by being pushed on buttons and an emergency stop circuit 3 to which the switches 2 are mutually connected in series, and which, by open circuiting any of the switches 2, cut off the electrical circuit 10 to which a load 5 is connected as an emergency stop. The emergency stop switches 2 are detachable to the emergency stop circuit 3 and have a short circuit releasing switching means 4 which short-circuits the circuit portion in which a switch 2 is detached in the emergency stop circuit 3 when any of the emergency stop switches 2 is detached and releases the short circuit when the switch 2 is installed. The short circuit releasing switching means 4 is provided for every emergency stop switch 2 and switches over short circuit and releasing by a physical action associated with the removal of the switch 2.
