PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a memory system which efficiently achieves bank interleaving. SOLUTION: A memory controller, including a priority order managing means for managing selective priority order for every bank, selects a memory area which has the highest selective priority order out of the banks in a ready state to change the selected memory area to a command target of the next operation command after transmitting the operation command and moves the next selective priority order of the selected memory area to the lowest priority by the priority order managing means.
