<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a foamed glass tile light-weighted compared with a conventional building material, and having sufficient resistance against unexpected explosion, earthquake, wind pressure or the like. <P>SOLUTION: A large high-density foam glass tile includes a sealed porous outer skin coating on at least one face, and has density of 30-100 lb/ft<SP>3</SP>(480.5539-1601.8463 kg/m<SP>3</SP>), thickness of at least 2 in (0.0508 m), and a weight heavier than 30 lb (13.6078 kg). <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT</p> |
