<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rotary connector for dispensing with rotation errors between a rotary body and a rotator even though a shaft gap is produced between the rotary body and the rotator. <P>SOLUTION: The rotary connector 100 includes the circular rotary body 11 rotating together with a steering wheel, the rotator 15 of a steering angle sensor 13, and a cylindrical joint 17 for connecting between the rotary body 11 and the rotator 15. The rotary body 11 and the joint 17 are connected via a first universal joint 19, and the joint 17 and the rotator 15 are connected via a second universal joint 21. The first universal joint 19 includes opposite walls arranged in the vicinity of an outer periphery on both ends of the rotary body in the diameter direction, a sliding contact projection 27 formed between the opposite walls, a holding piece 29 arranged on both ends of the inside at one end side of the joint in the diameter direction, and a round plate section formed by approaching to the holding piece 29. The second universal joint 21 is formed with a bearing section 41 arranged on both ends at an inner peripheral surface of the rotator in the diameter direction, and a shaft section 45 extending to the inside from both ends of an inner peripheral surface of the rotator in the diameter direction. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT</p> |
