<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an airbag device capable of attaining high strength and restraint performance in a simple structure and improving yield of a base cloth. <P>SOLUTION: The airbag device 10 is configured to include: a plurality of cylindrical bag elements 100, 200, 300 each of which is formed into a substantially cylindrical shape and which are connected so that outer-peripheral surfaces are in contact with each other by winding a base cloth panel and joining both ends thereof; gas supply means 13 for supplying deployment gas to one of the plurality of cylindrical bag elements; gas passages 114, 124, 218, 219 which are formed at the joined positions of the plurality of cylindrical bag elements and introduce the deployment gas from the one cylindrical bag element into the other cylindrical bag elements. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT |
